Selecting a reverse-osmosis plant begins with the feed water—not simply the required daily output. A sound proposal should connect water analysis, production demand, operating hours and maintenance conditions.
Start with a complete water assessment
TDS, hardness, turbidity, iron, silica and microbiological conditions may affect pretreatment and membrane performance. Laboratory results should guide the design.
Confirm real production requirements
- Required product-water volume per hour and per day
- Peak demand and storage capacity
- Expected recovery and concentrate management
- Space, electricity and drainage availability
- Operator training, spare parts and service access
Capacity labels are a starting point. Actual output varies with feed-water temperature, salinity, pressure, membrane selection and operating conditions.
Plan for life after installation
Instrumentation, accessible filters, clear piping, scheduled maintenance and responsive technical support can be as important as the membrane specification itself.
